Need something cute to bring winter interest to your landscape? Tater Tot® by Proven Winners® is the answer! This globe shaped arborvitae is a tidy collection of fan shaped, fluffy evergreen foliage that looks great all year round!

This is a delightful dwarf globe thuja, a bit taller than it is wide, with swirling fans of deep green foliage. A seedling of ‘Brandon,’ it is hardy and maintains good color all year round; it’s faster growing than ‘Danica’; and smaller than ‘Hetz Midget.’ With its outstanding container presentation and appealing, versatile habit; this cute little arborvitae is sure to be popular with homeowners!

Care

Dwarf Arborvitae Care

Provide full sun to partial shade. Too much shade will cause growth issues.

Fertilization is suggested, especially if soil is poor. Our slow release fertilizer is a great option.

Naturally grows as a tight, compact sphere. New growth may be trimmed to shape in late spring, following plant’s natural habit. Keep well-watered after trimming to prevent browning of edges. Do not cut too hard or cut into thick stems, which will result in slow recovery.

Water regularly, especially after planting prior to establishment. Attempt to keep soil moist but not wet.

This arborvitae prefers soil that is well draining.

Space 2' apart at a minimum.
