Almanac Planting Co began in 2019 as a small propagation project in a family backyard on a five-acre farmette. What started as a handful of greenhouses grew into something much bigger — today we operate a 40-acre farm in Knox, Pennsylvania, a former cattle property surrounded by forests and streams in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds.

Our location gives us real winters, true dormancy cycles, and the kind of seasonal growing conditions that produce plants built to perform well beyond our fields.

In addition to our own growing operation, we work with a trusted network of professional growers across the U.S. and internationally. This gives us the credibility of a real grower with the flexibility to offer a much broader catalog — without scaling production infrastructure for every new variety.

Every plant we sell — whether grown on our farm or sourced through our network — meets the same quality standard before it ships. That's not a tagline. It's how we operate, and it's what our customers have come to expect.

We're focused on building Almanac into a brand that people trust — for the quality of what we grow, the care behind how we ship, and the experience of buying plants from people who actually know plants. The opportunity ahead includes expanded greenhouse production on our existing 40-acre property, deeper inventory through our grower network, and continued investment in the digital systems that make all of it work.

We're not in a rush, but we're not standing still either. The right investment partnership can accelerate a timeline that's already moving — more production capacity, broader catalog depth, and stronger infrastructure to support the growth that's already underway.

Our grower network is core to how Almanac works. Almanac Planting Co is co-founded and operated by Stephanie Fulk and Justin Fulk. Stephanie oversees all greenhouse and nursery operations — propagation, crop planning, plant health, and quality control. Justin runs customer service, e-commerce, technology, and logistics.

Every strategic and operational decision is made by the people who built it. That's been true from day one, and it's not changing.
