• Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our processor Shopify, and other vendors, payment gateways, or fulfillment partners as needed to complete your order and provide related services.

Customer support information

• Examples of Personal Information collected: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address, and phone number.
• Purpose of collection: to provide customer support.
• Source of collection: collected from you.
• Disclosure for a business purpose: may be shared with third-party support providers for the sole purpose of assisting you.

AI chat assistant

The chat feature on our Site is an automated assistant powered by artificial intelligence, provided by our service provider Zipchat. It is not a human. You can reach a person at any time by emailing Support@AlmanacPlanting.com or using our contact page.

• Examples of Personal Information collected: the content of your chat messages; any name, email address, order number, or other details you choose to share in the chat; and your browsing context on the Site (such as the pages and products you view while chatting).
• Purpose of collection: to answer your questions, recommend plants, help with orders, and improve the quality and accuracy of our customer support.
• Source of collection: collected from you when you use the chat.
• Disclosure for a business purpose: processed by Zipchat on our behalf to operate the chat. Chat transcripts may be stored and reviewed by our team and used to improve the assistant's responses. Chat data is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

The chat assistant provides general plant and order information and may occasionally be inaccurate. Please confirm anything important with our team before relying on it.

Collection of Phone Numbers for SMS Notifications

We may collect your phone number to send important notifications, order updates, and customer service messages through SMS. These messages will only be sent with your explicit opt-in consent. Customers may opt out by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT.

Purpose of collecting phone numbers

Phone numbers are collected only to provide order updates, customer support, and other essential notifications. Customer phone numbers are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors. If you believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

Shopify Network Intelligence and Enhanced Services

Our store is hosted by Shopify and participates in Shopify Network Intelligence, a program that securely uses aggregated customer data across Shopify merchants to provide Enhanced Services, such as fraud protection, store performance improvements, and personalized experiences. Your data may be processed by Shopify in connection with these services as described in their Privacy Policy.

Customers may opt out of the use of their data for targeted advertising or cross-merchant analytics by visiting our Data Sharing Opt-Out page or by using the Shopify Privacy Portal.

Behavioural Advertising

Do Not Track
