Almanac Planting Co is a licensed nursery dealer operating in full compliance with state and federal regulations for the interstate shipment of live plants.
Shipping live plants across state lines comes with real regulatory responsibility, and we take that seriously. Almanac Planting Co holds a current Pennsylvania nursery dealer license and complies with all applicable state and federal requirements for the production, sale, and interstate distribution of live plant material.
We work directly with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture to maintain compliance with phytosanitary standards, inspection requirements, and shipping restrictions — both within Pennsylvania and across every state we ship to.
Licensed & Inspected
We hold a current PA nursery dealer license and undergo regular inspections by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
State-Level Compliance
We monitor and comply with individual state shipping restrictions, quarantine zones, and phytosanitary certification requirements.
Restricted Species Monitoring
We actively track state and federal restricted-species lists to ensure we never ship regulated plant material where it's not permitted.
