We ship all products via UPS, USPS, or FedEx. We reserve the right to ship a package with any carrier — regardless of the shipping method selected at checkout — provided the change does not extend the expected delivery timeframe associated with the purchased shipping method. This allows us to accommodate carrier schedules and provide the most reliable shipping experience possible.
We typically ship five days a week (Monday through Friday) to ensure timely fulfillment and fresher arrivals. In some cases — particularly for long-distance or West Coast deliveries — we may hold packages until early in the week (usually Monday or Tuesday) to avoid weekend layovers in carrier distribution facilities and help protect plant quality during transit.
Overnight or expedited shipping options may be available depending on the product type, destination, and time of year. If you would like to request expedited or overnight delivery, please contact us prior to placing your order so we can confirm availability and provide a custom shipping quote.
During periods of high order volume, seasonal demand, sales events, or temporary staffing limitations, processing and shipping times may be longer than usual. We maintain an announcement banner at the top of our website to communicate current estimated processing and fulfillment timelines.
Handmade-to-order wreaths and certain specialty products may require up to seven (7) business days to ship after an order is placed.
Free shipping promotions are generally calculated based on cart value after discounts and before taxes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel free shipping promotions at any time and for any reason.
In limited circumstances, we may delay shipments or request additional shipping surcharges when necessary. Situations that may require adjustments include oversized or heavy items, weather-related holds to protect plant health, rural or hard-to-reach delivery locations, and carrier-imposed rate increases or surcharges.
If an order includes multiple items (such as pre-order and in-stock products), items may ship together or separately at our discretion based on availability and logistics. If you require separate arrival times, please place separate orders.
We are not responsible for packages lost or misdelivered due to incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by customers, nor for packages stolen after confirmed delivery.
Shipping carriers do not insure live plants for damage. However, if a live plant arrives with major damage caused during transit, customers may request support under our Grow Happyâ„¢ Healthy Arrival Guarantee . Eligible replacements are handled according to the terms of that policy, including applicable shipping costs on replacement plants.
This shipping policy applies to Healthy Arrival support only. Extended Guarantee coverage, when included with eligible plants, follows separate terms outlined on our Grow Happyâ„¢ Plant Guarantee page.
For non-plant products only, carrier-related claims or service issues must be handled directly with USPS, UPS, or FedEx.
Once an order has been transferred to the carrier, Almanac Planting Co LLC is not responsible for delivery delays or failures beyond our control, including weather events or carrier service disruptions.
