Do I need an appointment for local pickup?

Yes. All local pickups are by appointment only. This helps us make sure your order is ready, packed, and that someone is available to meet you when you arrive. Once you reach out, we’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.

Where are you located?

Our farm is located just outside Knox, Pennsylvania, in the southwestern corner of the PA Wilds. Our address is:

We recommend approaching J B Knight Road from the north via T-338 (Hockman Road / Knights Bypass Road). We’re very rural, and the roads directly south of us are dirt, narrow, and a bit bumpy — especially during winter when they aren’t maintained — so the northern route offers a much smoother drive.

Can I browse or shop while I’m there?

Our farm is a working nursery rather than a traditional retail garden center, so we’re not set up for browsing or walk-in shopping. We’re not open for regular retail hours, and we’re unable to offer greenhouse browsing at this time.

We recommend confirming your plant list with us ahead of time, and we’re always happy to help you plan what to order before you come.

Do you offer discounted pricing for local pickup?

Yes. Local pickup customers can take advantage of discounted local pricing on many plants and products. It’s one of the easiest ways to stretch your garden budget while supporting a small, family-run nursery.

If you’re planning a larger project or bulk order, you’re welcome to email us for customized pickup pricing. We can review what you’re looking for and provide a quote based on your specific needs.

How do I pay for a local pickup order?

Most local pickup orders are placed and paid for online in advance. If you’re planning a larger order or need a custom quote, we can provide pricing and next steps by email before you check out.

We don’t accept checks or in-person card payments. We also don’t have a cash register on site, so any cash payments must be exact (or include a small overage/tip), as we’re unable to provide change.

What should I expect when I arrive?

Our farm is an active, grower-run nursery in the middle of a major expansion. During your visit, you may see hoop houses going up, new growing areas being prepped, equipment parked around, and day-to-day farm work in progress. Things may look a little “in progress” as we continue building out the new farm.

Your plants will be packed and ready to go, and most pickups take less than five minutes once you arrive.

Will I get directions or arrival instructions?

Yes. We’ll email directions if you need them and let you know where to park and where to meet us for your order, so arrival is straightforward even though we’re in a very rural area.

What if I’m running late or need to reschedule?

We understand that things come up. If you’re running late or need to reschedule your pickup, please let us know as soon as you can. We’ll do our best to adjust your appointment and find a new time that works for everyone.

Can someone else pick up my order for me?

Yes. If a friend, family member, or contractor will be picking up your order, just let us know their name in advance so we know who to expect. We’ll confirm the details with you ahead of time to make sure everything goes smoothly.
