Limelight Prime® from Proven Winners® has taken all of the amazing qualities of ‘Limelight’ and improved them. You’ll love the more compact habit, darker, healthier looking foliage, and stronger stems. Blooms still emerge vibrant lime green, but mature to a richer, more vibrant punch pink.

Limelight Prime™ hydrangea isn’t just new - it’s better! This innovative new variety boasts stronger stems than the original: no flopping! It has an earlier bloom time for more color, and a brighter color change in the flowers each fall.

Container and landscape performance are both greatly improved over the original Limelight.

Earlier blooming than the original. Flower ages from a lime green to a rich pink.

Dark foliage is appealing throughout the season.

Great for cut flowers!

Care

Panicle Hydrangea Care

Provide full or partial sun. Too little light will cause growth issues. Best flower set, size, and stem strength occurs with a minimum of 6 hours of sun daily.

Fertilization is suggested, especially if soil is poor. Our slow release fertilizer is a great option.

It's best to trim and prune between late fall and late winter, while the plant is dormant. Late winter is considered ideal.

Water regularly after planting prior to establishment. Attempt to keep soil moist, but not wet. It's suggested to place 2"-3" of mulch under this plant to help retain ground moisture.
