Care
Globe Arborvitae Care
Provide full sun to partial shade. Too much shade will cause growth issues.
Fertilization is suggested, especially if soil is poor. Our slow release fertilizer is a great option.
Naturally grows as a tight, dense sphere. New growth may be trimmed to shape in late spring, following the plant’s natural habit. Keep well-watered after trimming to prevent browning of edges. Light trimmings are best. Heavy trimmings may severely stunt growth.
Water regularly, especially after planting prior to establishment. Attempt to keep soil moist but not wet.
This arborvitae prefers soil that is well draining.
Space 40" apart at a minimum.
