Sonic Bloom® Pink Weigela from Proven Winners® is a deciduous shrub with a unique reblooming flowering habit that produces a continuous series of stunning pink blooms from spring to fall! Its medium-sized leaves are cupped and deeply veined. Use it to create a vibrant landscape focal point with a splash of color. 

Sonic Bloom® blooms in late spring like a typical weigela should, then reblooms again from mid-summer to frost! It’s covered in trumpet-shaped pink blooms for months, year after year. This new variety has the strongest reblooming ever seen in weigelas, with loads of flowers in May followed by waves of blooms until frost. Sonic Bloom weigelas are good additions to mixed borders and also make a great low foundation planting.

Reblooming Weigela Care

Provide full sun. Too little light will cause growth issues. 

Fertilization is suggested, especially if soil is poor. Our slow release fertilizer is a great option. Keep well fertilized for best rebloom. 

If pruning is desired, it should be done after spring flowering has finished. Early spring and dormant pruning will remove the first set of flower buds. Stop pruning in late July to allow spring flower buds to form for the following season.

Water well, especially after planting prior to establishment. Attempt to keep soil moist, but not wet. It's suggested to place 2"-3" of mulch under this plant to help retain ground moisture.
