Yucca aloifolia 'Magenta Magic'—commonly referred to as Dwarf Yucca 'Magenta Magic'—is a miniature evergreen shrub with bold, thick, green foliage and an eye-catching, magenta-purple color that’s enhanced by colder weather. The foliage takes on a soft, blue-green hue when exposed to high levels of light, and it can be used indoors or outdoors. With its drought-tolerance and low-maintenance requirements, it is an ideal choice for any landscape.

Although irregular, Yucca sometimes flowers in the mid-summer and late winter. Flowers are white and atop of a tall stalk, often rising to 5'+, and a favorite of hummingbirds, pollinators, and butterflies! 

Extremely drought resistant and low-maintenance once established! Also tolerant of salt, deer, rabbits, poor soil, and poor air. 

Fast growing and easily propagated! 

Dwarf Yucca Care

Yucca aloifolia 'Magenta Magic' does best in locations that receive full sun. Areas of partial sun (6+ hours) are also acceptable. 

Suggested planting time is after the last spring frost, ideally when temperatures are above 50°F.

Fertilize as required, especially if planted in poor soil. Our slow release fertilizer is a great option.  

Attempt to keep its soil moist during its establishment. Once established, Yucca is considered to be quite drought tolerant.
