Care
Anemone Care
Anemone PUFF® 'Pink' is known for its ease of care and minimal maintenance requirements.
Prune to maintain its shape as necessary. At the end of the bloom season, cut back to approximately 2" above ground level. Cover with mulch, straw, or leaves in colder climates to protect the plant. Remove this covering in early spring as the temperatures warm.
Propagating by division is recommended after a few years of growth if the plant becomes crowded. The best time for this is in the spring.
For optimal growth, use a slow-release fertilizer like our slow-release fertilizer or something similar to ensure your plant remains well-nourished.
Windflower PUFF® 'Pink' performs best in full sun but can also thrive in partial shade. Regular watering is essential, especially after planting or during dry spells. Ensure the soil remains moist but well-draining to avoid waterlogged roots over the winter months.
Deadheading spent flowers will keep your plant looking fresh and encourage continued blooming throughout the season.
